CVSG Boasts Schartz as 2010 Local Scholarship Winner
 
 
The members of the Central Valley Struttin’ Gobblers (CVSG) of Hartford, SD are proud to announce that Tom Schartz of West Central High School has been awarded a $250 scholarship for the school year 2009 – 2010.  Tom is a member of the local FFA where he has excelled in Food Science, Dairy Cattle, Nursery Landscape and Natural Resources.  Tom also was named a West Central team Captain (football) and plans on attending SDSU to major in Agronomy.  Mr. Schartz is preceded by Zach Hansen of McCook Central (09’), followed by West Central alumni Jared Nelson (08’), Daniel Pusch (07’) and Noelle Rist (06’).
 
 
He has practiced Wildlife Management through hunting for numerous years and has every intention of continuing his hunting heritage.  As a local scholarship winner Tom has now eligible for an additional state and national scholarship through the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF).  The Central Valley Struttin’ Gobblers appreciate Mr. Schartz application and wish him the best in all future ventures.  If you what like to know more about how you can become  involved with the Central Valley Struttin’ Gobblers please feel free to call Scott Nelson at 605-528-7320.
