Women & Youth Event to be Held This Saturday

Members of the Central Valley Struttin’ Gobbler (a local chapter for the National Wild Turkey Federation) will once again be conducting their Women In The Outdoors (WITO) event on Saturday, August 7th at Hunter’s Pointe near Humboldt, SD.  Women and youth age 17 or younger (Jakes) are encouraged to participate for the day long seminar which will include classes ranging from gun safety/discharge to dutch-oven cooking.

This is unique to the state of South Dakota due to the fact that only four of 32 state chapters conducted such an event in 2009.  This year the NWTF will be offering actual memberships for those who take part.

The fee will include NWTF membership, lunch and any and/or all supplies for each and every class offered throughout the day.  You are encouraged to call May Schaefer at 605-321-4672 or Greg Boddicker at 605-528-3592 to get more information or confirm your participation.  Walk-ins are welcome pending availibility.
