Annual Struttin' Gobblers Food Drive
Members of the Central Valley Struttin’ Gobblers (a local chapter of the National Wild Turkey
Federation or NWTF) will be conducting a food drive and fund raiser for the Food Haven, a relief
organization affiliated with the Faith Lutheran Church of Humboldt, SD. Cash donations and
non-perishable food items will be accepted at the CVSG booth during this years Jamboree Days
on June 19th, 2010.
The local conservation group is offering chances for raffle items.
For every 3 canned or nonperishable food item or $5.00 cash donation you will receive
a raffle ticket for a special drawing.
Prizes include: hunting blind, hunting knives, Game shears, NWTF hats, and more!
Last year over 40 pounds of food was collected along with a $100 cash donation. We hope
with your help, that we can beat those numbers and provide more help to the
Food Haven of Humboldt.
So look for our booth at this year's Hartford Jamboree Days being held of June 19th, 2010
in downtown Hartford, SD.
